Alpha Phi's Red Dress Gala Successful

On Saturday evening Alpha Phi hosted their fourth annual Red Dress Gala to benefit the Alpha Phi Foundation to promote cardiac care. For those of you that don't know about the Alpha Phi Foundation here's a bit of information.
  • Mission Statement: Alpha Phi Foundation empowers women to be generous givers. We raise and award funds for programs that advance leadership development, encourage academic excellence, improve women’s heart health, support sisters in need and educate about the value of philanthropy.
  • Vision: As a preeminent philanthropic organization, Alpha Phi Foundation is recognized for the strength of our endowment and for innovation in cultivating and sustaining donor participation. We strive to be philanthropy-of-choice among our members, with every Alpha Phi supporting the Foundation
The night consisted of dinner, a silent auction, a red dress fashion show by the seniors, and some dancing. Through the support of family, friends, and alumni Alpha Phi was able to raise more money than expected to donate to the Alpha Phi Foundation. We even had one basket, a Detroit Red Wings basket, that went for over $600.

Thanks to Danielle Prielipp, her committee, all the other sisters of Alpha Phi, family, and friends for making this years Red Dress Gala so successful.
