ADRIAN, Mich. – Zeta Beta chapter of Theta Chi at Adrian College will host its second annual Walk For Hope event, with all proceeds benefiting the Hope Community Center, an organization aiding adults with disabilities to live a richer and fuller life.
The Walk for Hope will be an event with sponsored participants walking during a six hour period. It will take place on Saturday, March 27, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Adrian College Track and Field facility. Teams made up of 10 members will be asked a $250 entry fee; additional participants will cost $10 each.
The Hope Community Center has been giving adults with disabilities a place to socialize and enjoy themselves throughout Lenawee County since 1976. Today, there are approximately 400 members and more than 120 programs available monthly. The Zeta Beta chapter of Theta Chi has been working closely with the center over the past several years to help them fulfill their mission statement. The Walk for Hope will be the second philanthropic event Theta Chi has participated in benefitting the Hope Center.
