Applicants wishing to complete everything at the event will need to bring the following items with them:
(1) a government issued photo ID (i.e. a driver's license)
(2) a photocopy of the ID, with both sides of the ID copied onto the same sheet of paper
(3) proof of U.S. citizenship (i.e. a certified birth certificate)
(4) 2 recent passport photos (these will be taken for $3 at the event)
(5) passport fees in 2 separate checks of $75 payable to the U.S. Department of State and $25 payable to the Lenawee County Clerk's Office
The entire community is invited to attend. Passport photos will be taken and applications will be handed out. The cost is $3 for two passport photos. Personnel will be available to answer any questions regarding the passport application and process.
Light refreshments will also be served at Passport Day. The Institute of Study Abroad is located in 131 Valade Hall off of Williams St. For more information about passports, prospective applicants should visit the U.S. Department of State's web site at www.state.gov.
