Community Clay Art Exhibition

Come to the Adrian College library to see the creativity of adults from our community.

The exhibit will be available from January 23 thru Feb. 12, 2010.

The collection, from the Community Clay class from fall of 2009, offers over fifty works including glazed surfaces using a variety of techniques: raku, salt, wood, and high fire reduction.

Community Clay classes are offered by the Adrian College Art and Design Department in the fall, winter and spring. Students, high school age and older, are represented in this exhibition.

The reception is open to the community and offers the opportunity to meet the artists on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010 from 1 – 3 pm.

The exhibition will be on display through February 12, 2010 and can be viewed during regular library hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9am-9pm; Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday 10 am -5:30 pm. The library is closed on Sundays.

The Adrian Public Library is located at 143 E. Maumee Street in downtown Adrian. Parking is available along Maumee Street and in the Toledo Street parking lot.
