The contest is a male beauty pageant consisting of approximately 15 Adrian College students. The pageant has 3 rounds: beachwear, formal and casual.
Each participant will also be asked three questions about relationships, love, etc.
The women of Alpha Phi are excited about the event and are encouraging students to come out and show their support for this worthy cause.
"The competition is fierce this year; we are very excited for the show," said Nikki Baldwin, director of philanthropy for the College's chapter of Alpha Phi. "I think we will have a great turnout. 'Mr. Alpha Phi' will be a great time and a lot of fun! The best part is that it's all for a good cause."
Last year's reining "Mr. Alpha Phi" is Kyle Watson, a member of the men's varsity hockey team.
"Over the past year, I have developed awareness for the sorority's fellowship and positive direction," said Watson. "The Mr. Alpha Phi pageant is a great event, and with it being for cardiac care, it's for an exceptional cause. It's an excellent opportunity for students to interact with the sorority and share some laughs."
Cost is $2 with a student I.D. and $3 without a student I.D.
